Education
Completed 2 years at a Private Institution in Amherst, NY known as Daemen College. I majored in Psychology and Minored in Creative Writing/English Composition. I now moved to Philadelphia, PA and I am currently enrolled at Delaware County Community College (DCCC) and will transfer over to a 4 year University after one (1) Semester. My preference are either Drexel University or Villanova University. I am now majoring in Behavioral Science Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience Research.
Experience
I was a college mentor my first 2 semesters of college. I taught English to ESL students from China and Nigeria. I was also a writing tutor for my classmates. I also had hands on experience working with students with special needs and helped them with writing, physical activities and note taking. I am also fluent in the Arabic Language, with the dialect of Jordan/Palestine. I also volunteered and was involved in Cancer Research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY I would love to be a tutor because I know how hard it is going through high school with little or no help. I want to be able to offer my services to students just so I can make sure they can succeed and get into a great college of their choice! Every child/student has potential... it just needs to be brought out!
