#### Education

Lincoln University - BS, Physics#### Experience

I graduated from Lincoln University with a B.S. in Physics and a math minor. I am an engineer and after graduation I worked in both structural and civil engineering. In college I tutored middle and high school students in math, where I learned that not only did I enjoy tutoring, I was also good at it. I have developed clear teaching methods and hands on examples to help students learn the material and understand how it can be used in real life. I am available to tutor students on a variety of different subjects, but I particularly enjoy teaching physics, elementary and middle school math, geometry, and algebra. One of my greatest goals is to help students move past any fears they might have about a particular subject, which makes it possible for us to move forward with lesson. This aids students in understanding the topics we are discussing and allows them to building a solid foundation that can be used in further education.I believe education is not just important, but necessary, and this is the attitude I teach with and hope to give to my students. When I am not tutoring, I like to spend my time listening to music, writing, playing chess, and reading. I also enjoy playing basketball, golf, and ice hockey.#### Hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, playing chess, listening to music, working out, and playing basketball.#### Preferred Subjects

Algebra, Algebra 2, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Geometry, Math, Middle School Math, Physics, Pre-Algebra, Science
